Galbalan (ガルバラン), ou couramment appelé Demanicus sur certaine version, est un puissant démon qui a autrefois semé le chaos au pays de Felghana. Il a été ensuite été enfermé au fond d'une abysse au Genos Island par le guerrier Genos. Apparait dans l'épisode Ys III.

• Galbalan est remarquablement différent des autres types de Galbalan. Il se démarque par sa forme différente, qu'il est doué en parole et a une soif de puissance. Cependant, il possède un énorme œil, qui pourrait être similaire l'œil dans la cuve aperçue au Vestiges d'Amnesia sur Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim.
